Marcia Selz, Ph.D.
Marcia Selz has over 35 years of experience in marketing and marketing research. Prior to establishing Marketing Matrix in 1987, Marcia worked with Pilgrim Funds and spent five years with First Interstate Bank as Vice President and Manager of Marketing Research, Manager of Marketing for World Banking, and Manager of Product Planning for Corporate Financial Services. Before joining the Bank, Marcia worked with San Francisco-headquartered Field Research Corporation for five years, where she served as Director of Research for Southern California. Prior to joining Field Research Corporation, Marcia owned two survey research services firms.
Marcia Selz is past president of the Southern California Chapter of the American Marketing Association (1981-82), and was the Charter President of the Economics and Finance Affiliates at the California Museum of Science and Industry. Marcia has a B.S. from Indiana University, an M.B.A. from Loyola Marymount University, and a Ph.D. from the Peter F. Drucker Management School at Claremont Graduate University. Her dissertation topic was Toward a Model of a Gap Analysis Between Leaders, Investors and Intermediaries in the Mutual Fund Industry.
Eduardo Subelman, Ph.D.
Eduardo Subelman spent two years teaching at the University of California at Berkeley and five years on the faculty at UCLA in the Systems Science Department. His corporate background includes two years at Quotron Systems as Manager of Database Systems, 16 years at Citicorp Advanced Development Group as a Computer Scientist and, most recently, 5 years at Investment Technology Group, Inc. Dr. Subelman received his Master's and Ph.D. Degrees from the University of California at Berkeley, where he specialized in Statistics and Probability Applications.
Tony DeAngelis first worked with Marketing Matrix in 1987, when he was Vice President of Marketing for Pilgrim Mutual Funds. Since that time, Tony has also served as Vice President of Marketing and Sales for AAL Capital Management Corporation and as Vice President for TRICOR Financial Communications. Tony earned his B.S. in Journalism and Marketing from the University of Wisconsin.
Katrina Bacus is responsible for qualitative analysis of market research information. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Loyola Marymount University.
Iracema Lozano is responsible for the preliminary analysis and administrative review of questionnaires and reports. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Loyola Marymount University.
